Lexus LFA price soar
ok, i think that's a fair statement. when i heard that comparison though my main focus was on the grand seiko part. pretty much you have to be watch guy in order to (maybe) appreciate grand seiko. i am sure a lot of people would question and say "isn't that just another seiko?"

lol, i am not into grand seiko either (not a watch guy in general) but yes, i love my seiko!
Love my deep sea especially since it’s now discontinued. I have a seamaster NTTD titanium I love. My daily is a hamilton though especially when i’m doing car stuff. The one Jack Ryan wears lol
Zenith El Primero guy. Watches, like cars are very personal. Just because everyone says to get a Rolex doesn't mean it will tug at the heart strings. It's like am I wearing it to show off to other people or wearing it to make myself happy? Plus I'm not about to jump through hoops and beg them to take my money. That is just *** backwards.

I appreciate the technology, crafsmanship and precision that goes into fine manual watches, but I just never cared and never wore any kind, electronic or manual. My wife has a few, but women like to waste money, lol.
But the analogy between cars and watches is great, I've also often viewed it as such. Nowadays people refer to electronics when they use the term technology, but there is a greater, more human beauty in the analog mechanical technology.

My wife, other the other hand, loves to waste money on these things.
Doesn’t need to be expensive, Seiko for example.
