Curious how that would tow. I've never known lifted trucks to be ideal for towing.

It's still a 3/4 ton. If it's built right, it will do fine. It is alot of money but diesel trucks hold their value extremely well.

how much is a 2026 RAM equivalent,,think I saw $7500 off.....maybe the 2500 especially diesels arent included.

If your primary goal is towing, I'm confused why you're focusing on lifted trucks with huge wheels and low-profile tires.

RAM all the way (biased longtime RAMmer here). If you're planning to tow a 5er I'd think twice about a diesel 2500 unless you're getting one of those "lightweights" like a Keystone Cougar, which happen to be of decent quality (for a rolling money pit lol). The 2500 payload decreases fairly significantly with the Cummins. Personally I think you were on the right track with the 1 ton SRW.

For towing heavy loads I'd go non-lifted.
And, load range E, highway radials.

If dually is out of the question, I'd go 1 ton SRW.
>> if pulling tall loads like a big camper- dually or nothing at all.

They're 37x12.5x20 tires, not low profile. 20" is a standard wheel for trucks this size. Lifts tow just fine, you just have to set 'em up right.

The new ones are junk. They are 12k or so off MSRP, which still makes them $85,000+ in the trim levels I want to look at. Not doing that. I refuse to buy a car made during or after COVID. Even Toyota's are worse. My best friend has a 2021 Camry and it has been a POS compared to his 2015 he had.

OUCH, I didnt realize they were that much,,no wonder there are discounts.
