There’s millionaires who drive 20+yr old vehicles. Heck some might be on this forum (👀 at you @Margate330 )
Give you one in particular…I know older gentleman who’s a millionaire and drives a single cab 500k mile ‘94 Nissan hardbody. Gets his oil changed at Nissan dealership.
Do you have mufflers on your cars? 🙉
If I put a sticker on it, I probably get one like this
I'm a millionaire and I drive a 25 year old Jeep like 30% of the time lol!

I know many people like that, cars just aren't a thing for them.
The two situations aren't the same thing. I'm not saying I don't want to drive an old beater because people think its ugly, I'm saying that I don't want to spend a lot of money to drive a car that lots of people think is ugly and that I too don't love how it looks. It has nothing to do with "looking rich" or not, it has to do with having a vehicle that is nice looking and having one that isn't for the same amount of money outlay. Does that make sense? The 7 Series is also a $140k car lol, its just an ugly car that costs $140k not a beater that is paid for.
If I'm running around not spending money people can think whatever they want. Driving something old and paid for is different than spending a lot of money for something thats ugly. Do you get what I'm saying? I would drive an old nice car no problem at all.
If I'm going to spend $2,000 on a suit...I don't want to wear this suit:

Your cars are very old. Modern systems are much better. You still manually control the car, it just does the work of keeping you in the lane and it takes a lot of the strain of long term driving off. Just like cruise control just for steering. Its not autonomous driving.
Yeah, please don't do that. Haha
Probably not good look for real estate.
About cars, I've boight both new and used.
My current car is the oldest and with the most miles of any car I have owned.
I'll upgrade it when I feel like spending the money.
Again it has nothing to do with old vs new, it has to do with ugly vs not and if I'm going to spend a huge amount of money on a car I don't want to drive something lots of people think is ugly. Same as I wouldn't buy this S Class lol:

Oh for sure.
If I was in sales and had to cart people around I'd pick up a used clean mint Mercedes, no doubt.
But not that ugly green thing!

It's crazy how time changes how we see things. This look doesn't seem to bother me anymore. My sales guy, yes (), has one of these in black. I saw one yesterday in the lot too. It's crazy but I think it looks pretty darn hot in all black/dark without chrome.

Dark colors make a huge difference, this is how I would have spec'ed mine:
But, still really polarizing and I'm not a polarizing guy.
I don't want to deal with the hassle or risk the cars I actually like, issues as of late is I am more aware of the fact I should be driving something safer though. Hence the Volvo

Uh and you realize I can compare my cars to brand new ones right?
The new ones are marginally better excluding the top end (so think Honda/kia/etc not Mercedes/GM supercruise level) and still don't hold center perfectly so again, unless it's better than me it just slowly irritates me like observing an inept driver.
