Thats actually something to think about!
another great (cheaper) option would be a chevy bolt. i think that’s a hugely underrated vehicle and i read for ‘26 they’ve made some nice updates.

That's indeed a great option people overlook all the time. Very cheap to operate even long term

I hate winter. I'm so close to caving in and getting an indoor car cover

It was when I had it but hasn't been for the last 15 years.

Another good idea. I had never really thought of an EV but I am going to seriously consider this.

I'm surprised by that, what do you think causes that? Doesn't happen to my cars in the garage

that’s because yours doesn’t sit for weeks and you detail them a lot!

I hate it too. I'm close to caving and moving south.

Come on down! There's no such thing as a winter beater down here. Cars don't get ruined by weather here.

They sit when we're out of town and that never happens!

Tennessee is really attractive. I would probably love it there. I remember about 2 years ago you guys had a significant storm of about 10".

Me and my sister are going to meet in Charlotte in a couple weeks and just drive around and explore the area. She wants to move back east.

Today is actually nice (still cold) and sunny. It was a beautiful morning to stretch my V8's legs. The 2UR is a gem of an engine.

We leave 2 expensive cars outside year-round and they're fine. LX has been sitting outside for 5 years now and looks brand new still.

You'd love it, it's beautiful and people are nice. And yes it was the most snow we've had in THIRTY years. A tad more than 10" IIRC. The LX made mincemeat out of it all.

I forget you have IS500 ;-).

Agree. But I have 2 garage queens in my garage plus my wife's car. My Lexus is outside.
