gls580 would be very nice i’m sure, but factor in a lot more gas money…
I wouldn't get a 580 for her, I would get a 450. If I got one for me I would get the 580.

Too hard to find and having to pay MSRP means the payment would be the same as a GLS450.

Lease is about $500 more a month, Pacifica is $720 GLS450 would be about $1,200. I can write it off though since she is selling real estate now, I would write 50% of it off so as not to draw the ire of the IRS (I write 100% of the S580 off). If we get the GLS for me I very well may get something cheaper for me next time.
In other news, I have started shopping around for a Pacifica replacement so I joined the lease rate database again so I can pull lease programs. Man, MB has come to play in 2026. @RNM GS3 MB SUV leases are the best I have seen in years. GLS450 .00128 MF (~3%), 580 is .00032 (0.78%) with only a 1% hit to the residual from the 450, $2k lease cash. GLE450 .00192 but 58% residual for 36
That GLS580 lease is killer with that MF. Thats better than the S580 which is .00078. S580 also doesn't have the $2k in lease cash.
Ye like I mentioned the MB leases were much more aggressive than BMW programs. Only negative is they can’t be locked in if you order.
BMW is promoting the financing instead of the leases.
I just ordered 7 series for my parents and got amazing deal.
Good time to buy!
How are you liking the X5 m40i now that you've had it for a bit? I remember there was something you didn't like. Maybe it was the gauge cluster or something?
Just throwing it out there but I thought I remember you said you drove an IS 500. Any interest in one of those or too small?
I thought I remember you said about possibly downsizing to a smaller car in another thread.
I wouldn't go that small, I wouldn't go smaller than an E Class, maybe would consider an X5 or something. A friend of mine just got a new X5 PHEV and I really like it.

Good! I think they will really like the 7. Great seats which I know was an issue for them.
