I agree about looking at it this way. I would add that from a design and production standpoint it pushed the envelope in a lot of ways and proved a lot of people wrong about what was and wasn't possible.

While I gave my subjective take earlier, some general questions, subjective in nature.
Cybertruck was suppose to be the peoples ev truck, but it also represented huge leaps in design and production. Were these met in folks opinion
-Promises of the world first exoskeleton frame
-Removal of the costly paint process and ultimately zero exterior maintenance required.
-500 mile range
-range extender
-cyberboat mode?
-crab walking?

Cybertruck the Worlds Toughest truck conquers the Rubicon Trail. It might have took 8 days to go 20ish miles, a dead battery after 8 miles, 4-6 tie rods (lost count), broken control arm bolt, broken rear motor, a new steering rack, a jeep pulling it up half the time. But it still finished the trail. Not being negative, just stating what happened, hopefully I don't get flamed lol.

Locally, the ONLY good thing, IMO, I've seen come out of the Cyber Truck is that businesses have taken advantage and used them as huge billboards.
Some look quite decent and eye-catching, if you ask me, and a smart way to advertise their business.
I can never get my phone out quick enough to take a picture, but one of these days I'm gonna catch one and will post here if I do...

because the cybertruck was clearly never designed for that kind of abuse.
i wonder when they’ll make a video showing a rav4 trying to go over that route.
and the style of the video and ‘hosts’ showing the glee of trashing a vehicle in that way is pathetic.

I see a decent amount of them in my suburban neighborhood. Many have been wrapped. I think if Tesla offered it painted, it would broaden the appeal. As it is now, they are all the same and that detracts from personalization. If you've seen one, you've seen them all. Quite often getting a favorite color is a big draw in a sale.
