PDK I finally experienced. It starts off like it has a clutch from a regular manual transmission.

Real car enthusiasts, you need to have at least one manual car in your stable. No PDK, DCT, ZF can match the engagement that comes with rowing some gears. I love my Supra. I washed it, garaged it and put a car cover on it as it’s been parked for almost 2wks now and I’ve been rowing gears

Because it does, two of them in fact. It's cludgy in stop and go but man when you are on a backroad and able to push the car it is INSANELY good. I still give nod to the ZF8 overall since it can do smooth and fury but the PDK is superior when flat out

True, they are way slower but more fun 100% I would probably go insane and hate the car in under 5 min if my TDI was an auto!

Tested once, my FK8 is 1 sec slower with me rowing to 130 than my JB4 tuned auto Supra. I think I could row little faster and makeup the difference. I plan on turning up power in Supra in the fall with a custom tune. May turn up the FK8 as well. See what my tuner suggest although it’s fine as it is. However as they say, it’s never enough power. 🫣

I would have one for a fun car, but not anything I would drive every day.

I am ALWAYS fighting the urge to go pick up a manual BRZ/GR86. That right there is some cheap fun. Garage space, however, is not unlimited...

Yeah I would have to leave a car outside on the street and I really don't want to do that.

Don't blame you there. We had a drunk rampage though our subdivision last fall and took out over 40 mailboxes and ended the night flipped sideways in a front yard.

I heard the impact at 3:20 am and thought someone hit a car or broke into a house etc, woke the wife up and we grabbed our handguns and we went to see wtf was going on.....after we passed the 6th destroyed mailbox we figured it's not vandals because some were skipped. I figured out it's a drunk when none of the mailboxes near parked cars were hit, told me it's not vandals since they would have hit the cars as well.

Funny enough my mailbox was only spared because the Jeep was left in the street that night, after that I realized even where I live if I leave a car on the street it may be hit. Badly if the next drunk didn't dodge the cars.
