Didn't some minivans used to have screens in the rear seats, so that kids could play their videos on long trips?

Thats different, thats for entertaining kids. If a passenger wants to watch a movie etc they just do so on their iPad vs on the tiny dash screen...and why would the passenger need ANOTHER GPS screen right next to the center screen?

Even the rear screens in the Pacifica, my kids have never used them, they just use their tablets. We used them when they were so little they couldn't hold tablets.

I wouldn't steer her away from one, at all. But oh she'll get what she likes, there's no winning in that department. I'm just the son lol.

Like I said she loves our LX size and feel wise, likes the big V8 and sense of security..... and a GX is a mini LX, just as tough but smaller which is a plus for many.

Which of them would you buy?
Nautilus, Genesis, or Lexus GX

If you can only have one.
A NEW one.

Trust me.....there are few more fulfilling things in the auto business, particularly if one's Dad has passed on, than to go shopping with your mother and help her get the new ride that she wants and/or needs. . I've done it myself....several times. After all, none of would be here, and even discussing this, if it weren't for our mothers.

Same. Nice design, proper FR layout, more powerful engine options, not having that screen across the entire dash, etc.

I was in Cleveland yesterday and saw a nice black V scream by me going about 100mph and it sounded awesome. It was kind of weird seeing such a large suv going that fast.

I was also in an Escalade. It was a driving service car so not the newest model and to be honest, I was a little disappointed in the materials no alcantara headliner and a tiny bit of plastic on the doors. It was very comfortable though with the captains chairs.

Oh the horror, a tiny bit of plastic on the doors.

My doors are all plastic from top to bottom with a tiny cocktail napkin size piece of leather on the window switch area. Haha 😁

Yeah, I mean I was a wild child for 18 years, it's the least I can do.

Lol I can't push her too hard though bc she'll get stubborn, I wonder why I am? Hmmm. Lol.

Not sure what the budget is but it’s impossible to beat the X5 in the midsize SUV class for $65-75k budget.

The GX is great if you plan to tow or go off road but not for on-road luxury ride.

Genesis GV80 - great interior but powertrain leave much to be desired.
GV70 has almost no legroom in the back.

Not familiar with new Lincoln Nautilus but its FWD based and I think has 4cyl engine.

I'd say her approximate budget is 80k. I honestly hadn't thought of any BMWs until now, thanks. I like their crossovers, too.

If she can do $80k she should look at an X5 or a GLE.
