I don't really have anywhere to park a third car that wouldn't require juggling cars around to get the blocked one out. I'm not against parking in my driveway(my truck lives there), but I can't park on the street. My neighbor across the street is that guy who owns way too many cars and he uses up all of the street parking in our cul-de-sac.

You live next door to @AJT123 ?
Just kidding! Haha
Some of our members have more cars than they need. 😂
I would too if I had the space and wanted to maintain them.
I keep the Highlander and GS in the garage. The Tundra parks in the extra driveway space. We can get any car out at any time, as none are blocked and all are off the street. I have enough outdoor parking for one more, but when my kids start driving and have cars, it’ll get crowded.

LOL I can't help it. No kids! And yeah we don't need 4 cars. I just refuse to get rid of the old good ones I have, they're paid for and run and look great.
I am ALWAYS fighting the urge to go pick up a manual BRZ/GR86. That right there is some cheap fun. Garage space, however, is not unlimited...
I would say do it 100%
I Finally had a chance to drive a 2nd gen GR86 - local dealer had a used one but with Automatic. I owned a 1st gen BRZ.
I gotta say the car is AMAZING. The inputs, the driving position, the simple interior controls, the seats. This one had 35k miles and interior/seats looked brand new.
One of the reasons i got rid of my BRZ was the motor, but this car was fast enough on the street even with the super laggy auto.
Makes me think if I should get rid of all my “weekend” cars and just get a new BRZ. Honestly if you just enjoy driving on back roads and don’t need to go deep over 100mph, this is all you need. I think for the $$$ - there is no better sports car.
The manual in the 86/BRZ is very good trans but it is notchy and its hard to be smooth as its very low torque. The Temec in my Mach 1 is such a pleasure to drive - super smooth with short throws. Much easier to drive than 86/BRZ.
I would do it sooner rather than later, tariffs are a big ? when considering foreign cars right now and as pricing leaks out for non protected 2026 models it could cause 25 models here to creep up or to become less available as people snap them up.

Ohhh I know. But trust me, I am not gonna push her or she’ll get annoyed and stubborn. As you might be picking up, the apple didn’t fall from the tree lol. She’s having a cataract surgery that got bumped up so it’ll be a minute.
She has plenty of and throws money away like water which makes me almost ill sometimes, re: tariffs and costs and prices. Not too worried about that.
Hey, like I said my mom is still driving my old 03 ES300, and she could buy any car she wanted and I would buy her a car...no dice!
Your mom has good taste. Up to a point, I myself would rather drive a Fourth-Generation ES, even with them being 20+ years old, than one of the newer ones.
She loves it, its more she's just frugal and drives very little and doesn't see any point to spending any money on a car.

Well, it gets to a point where something becomes so old that its just no longer dependable. I would rather she be in something that will always start when she goes to start it.
I certainly got my money's worth out of that car though LOL.

True, nothing lasts forever, but the later ES models, IMO, after your Mom's 4Gen version, were classic examples of trying to fix what clearly wasn't broken.
That was also the case, BTW, with some other Lexus products of the time.
