2025 Most Reliable Vehicle-Brands.
Hope this is not a re-post. Here is the latest ranking from JD power on vehicle-reliability....and the change in relative position from last year. In my opinion, it is remarkable that all four GM divisions are in the top seven places....and Buick is almost tied with First-Place Lexus. GM is a corporation that a lot of people like to diss on.......although I like many of their products, I myself do not think very much of its top leadership.

Buick only has 1 vehicle made in the US, the others are Asian, which probably helps their ranking. As far as the other GM brands, there really has been nothing 'radical' introduced in the past few years, so they have had plenty of time to tweak their offerings.
In some cases, it makes sense....even going back decades. I remember, Chrysler had an excellent quality and reliability record up to 1957.....and then blew it with the new Forward-Look '57 models which were just awful. Reliability improved again (drastically) in the early-to-mid-60s to become the best of the Big 3, up till about 1967-68, then took another nose-dive from 1968 on....never to fully recover until just a few years ago on some of the V8 Charger/Challenger models, but the rest of Stellantis remains well below average. GM has also had its ups and downs...too many examples to go into here in detail.
