It's not safe to follow trucks carrying loads.
I usually pass them or hang back a clear distance.

Yes. Certain AI. That purple Toyota "RAV-4" is definitely NOT a RAV-4.
Not only that, but heavy loads on large trucks like that have to be securely-attached. Trucking companies usually take great pains to see that they are, for obvious liability reasons.

When I was a teenager we were behind a car carrier when the car on the top of the carrier fell off in front of us, it was pretty wild. Luckily my dad was able to swerve around it.
So yeah. I don’t ride behind trucks like that

Correct... Not sure why people think it's AI, as this game is quite well-known for doing vehicle simulations like this.
Honestly, AI would not have done as good of a job.
I have the game and enjoy messing around with stuff like this. I think my favorite thing to do is do big jumps. They are surprisingly hard sometimes.
And yeah, this does illustrate the importance of keeping a safe distance behind any vehicle that is carrying a load, either on a trailer or even in a truck bed. Heck, when we had snow this weekend, I was behind a van that had a sheet of snow/ice on top of it that flew off. I had a handful of car lengths in front of me, so thankfully it fell to the pavement and broke apart before I got to it. If I had been too close, it could have hit the windshield or hood before the ground.
