I just sold a hot tub on there, my God lol. Seriously I was about to just give it to somebody when a real person showed up with real American dollars.
Not bad at all
60 inquiries within 4 hours, couple "I'm on my way" no shows, first actual buyer with cash on hand got the car. Could have milked couple hundred $$$ more out of it, but my time and sanity are worth more .
Nothing lasts forever, true. But nowadays, you can add carplay etc to pretty much any vehicle without much hassle. My 2008 LS460 has a 12" infotainment screen with AA/CP and i cna do other cool stuff on it too, like add my performance guages:
I would also argue that, although its 17 Years old with 145,000 miles, it looks better and drives better than it did when I bought it in 2018 at 83k miles.
There is just something satisfying to me about keeping an older car on the road. Sure, it doesnt have LKA, BSM, or any of the other 3 letter acronyms...but it has so many airbags it will turn into a gigantic pillow in a crash, and I dont care for all them nannies anyway. Sometimes even the traction control pisses me off. I would absolutely not hesitate to hop in this car tomorrow and drive it across the country. And I think it looks better than most sedans on the road today.
Dang wish I had this in my '08 before I sold it. Assume this covers climate too?
