Ok. We'll have to agree to disagree.

I know the cars ABS systems isnt early. ABS has been around since the 70s, if not earlier. The car itself is an early build LS460 (2007-2012 as opposed to 13+). That's what i was saying.

I have autocrossed this car. I have road coursed it. I've drag raced it. YOU might not be able to brake faster, but i can. My lap times are better when i disable the ABS.

You’re not faster than a computer, nobody is.

Your lap times being better without ABS does not mean that the car will stop more quickly in a panic stop. Doesn’t surprise me your lap times are better without ABS, apples and oranges.

Thats because in that type of situation you are sliding the car to an extent under braking. Cars that are more intended for that have altered VSC/ABS programs when you want to drive that way, Lexus doesn't and they are insanely biased to safety and intrusive VSC.

My Audis allow me to kick the tail out with VSC still on and when in sport mode I'm allowed 4 wheel drifts and to rotate under heavy stab braking instead of going to ABS instantly.

You would be much better served ditching the 460 and getting a car that is better at that sort of driving.

I hope you’re on aftermarket brakes lol. OEM brakes on my LS460s wouldn’t make it down a 7% grade without warping let alone a lap on a track.

Or swapping the Fsport brembos on....stock ones really need a pad swap and better rotors to avoid early overheats lol!

The joys of FB marketplace… over 30 mostly „Is it available?” messages in an hour 😂. Where else can you get an LS460 for $3k 🤣🤣🤣.

And just like that, the LS is gone🥲. 7 years, 120k miles, probably $14-$15k in depreciation/repairs. Could have been worse.

I just sold a hot tub on there, my God lol. Seriously I was about to just give it to somebody when a real person showed up with real American dollars.
