2026 Audi A5/S5
Many actually, most of BMWs lineup outside of the XM thing and I7, Bentley looks fantastic, Lexus cars look great for the most part as well. Suv wise I love the full Range Rover and Defender, the full bronco, the new GX, most Ferraris, any McLaren, the new lambos, the F150 and ram 1500 in top trim guise......
I can go on, I don't like old car per se since it's more of a matter I want my house paid off before I drop 4k a month on a car. My next two in order will be a 2017 R8 V10+ or the new ZR1 followed by a 2020 Bentley flying spur speed with no more than 20k miles on the spec I want.
I buy what I actually like, price isn't too much of a concern but I want value to be there in some form. They also have to make me feel a certain way and drive well and compel me to constantly look back at them in lots and take random pictures. The LSs I had failed that but I only had them as "safe" buys while I was starting out

RS 5 B10 Information from Audiworld crossposted, figured some of the Audi guys here might find it interesting. Debut is set for February 19 if not delayed by a week to February 26.

There may be an additional 412KW variant of the RS 5 which skips the PHEV system and is a pure ICE, though that would likely be a later debut and North America only if it's still planned.
RS 5 will be V6+e motor while the RS 6 will pair the V6 with 2 e motors. Shame about the loss of V8, but perhaps it returns at a later date like Mercedes-AMG.

The parts catalog has a 2.9 in it now, code DYAA. So I expect no variation from the information already there, 2.9 375kW base engine, PHEV system for 470kW combined. Appears the new 2.9 is like the old 2.9, in that it will use 504 oil while the 3.0 uses the 508 oil.
So very interesting brakes, Akebono 420x40 traditional and 440x40 ceramic fronts. 4P0 p/ns, so carried over from the PPC A6; likely to be shared on the S6. Looks like same 350x28 rears.
285/35 R20 and 285/30 R21 tires, on 20x10.0, 21x10.0, and 21x10.5 wheels.
8-speed automatic, so I assume ZF returns, with the version with the e-motor for PHEV purposes. But rear diff likely "Hybrid rear differential with electronic torque vectoring". I wonder if that means it's just the Magna PerforMax (RS3, Golf R), "clone" of the GKN Twinster, similar concept to later Acura SH-AWD implementation.
What's interesting is the RS6 appears to get a similar layout, but with two e-motors? I wonder if it gets a rear diff with integrated e-motor as well as the e-motor in the trans input. Pushes the RS6 to 550kW combined. Using 295 tires.
For the MOT codes involving the EA839 evo base engines, we have five that are listed:
D5A = TH9 base engine, 270kW, DWVA -- listed for FU (S5), GU (SQ5), and FN (A6)
D8T = TH9 base engine, 270kW, hybrid, 360kW combined -- listed for FN (so I assume this is the S6)
M9P = TI0 base engine, 375kW, DYAA -- this only shows up, currently, under the type GU
M0S = TI0 base engine, 375kW, hybrid, 470kW combined -- listed for the FU (so I assume this is the RS5)
M10 = TI0 base engine, 375kW, hybrid, 550kW combined -- listed for the FN (so I assume this is the RS6)
With the new platform, there's also a new code reflecting the hybrid layout. D8T is code 20Q, meaning e-motor unit 0EE.B. M0S is code 20X, also meaning e-motor unit 0EE.B. And M10 is code 20Y, meaning e-motor unit 0EE.B and 0K0.3. Which is why I wonder if it gets an e-motor powered rear diff. Nothing about the "type 0K0", whatever it might be, is anywhere, yet.

I'm liking the new brakes for sure, the looks suck but hardware wise it's fairly good. Loss of the V8 is unsurprising but that's okay, the older cars will be faster

Nice, the rear diff is the TVD the real Audis have had since 2010. It can send all power to the outside wheel or impose a negative movement even off throttle to assist in turn in, it's nothing like the golf or Acura systems. It's the same type of diff as in the GSF and some supercars.

That being said I think the widened fenders will make up for some of the visual flaws exterior wise! Especially with 20x10 and optional 21x10 wheels filling the arches.
This is smooth and cheap looking IMO, very Hyundai esque
