Car Care Nut gushes over LC500
I think his Q&A videos are entertaining and sometimes informative. Good to have on when I’m getting ready in the morning. Sometimes he veers outside his lane and will give his opinion on things that he isn’t an expert on (investing for example).
scotty is stuck in his past. There has not been any new insights in his videos for the last 5 years.

Just because somebody sounds confident about what they're saying doesn't mean you should believe they know that they're talking about.
He's full of himself and regularly contradicts his own advice for clicks. He's the epitomy of the boomer that stopped learning in 1976 and still thinks he knows everything about anything. His advice can be quite dangerous as well(he recommended against using jackstands).

I have been watching his videos for years and have never heard him tell people not to use Jack stands. Quite the opposite actually. He even uses them in some of his videos. I vaguely remember him telling people not to use a certain brand of Jack stand once, because the welds were bad or something like that.
I'm perfectly able to form my own opinions regarding the LC500, and, I share much of the knowledge Scotty and the Car Care Nut have. While I don't agree with everything they say and don't particularly care for either of their deliveries, I enjoy their shows for the entertainment value.
I just don't understand where all the CL vitriol is coming from for a couple of fellow car enthusiasts. I suspect some of it is coming from those who feel the need to tear others down in order to build themselves up. Others might just simply be jealous of their success. If one merely has an aversion to "click bait" and "controversial opinions," one shouldn't be on YT in the first place.

People here are merely expressing their opinions on a handful of well-known content creators because that's part of the topic. People are allowed to have negative opinions on popular things - see all those who have slagged Doug Demuro especially when he gives negative reviews of Toyota products. As for me, there are other far better content creators out there even among Toyota-focused channels (i.e. Automotive Press as I already mentioned). In fact my main gripe with Car Care Nut is when he talks about things unrelated to Toyota that he has no knowledge of (especially his EV rants lol)
