Car Care Nut gushes over LC500
Yeah that ain’t gonna happen lol. Also needs to charge.
I can tell you that’s not true. I know many very successful real estate agents for example who have started and have very successful YouTube channels. Amd has a very successful shop in Illinois. Car Wizard is another example. YT channels drive retail business incredibly well, and a lot of people have a lot of fun with them. I have an agent that makes $100k a year from his YT channel and $250k a year in business that is driven by and comes from the YT channel. He loves making videos for YT.
I like Amd because he’s a Lexus nerd, like I am.

His shop is mere 9 miles from my house 😀. As to the LC - most likely my way-past-midlife crisis vehicle 😀. The shock of putting 2 kids through college is wearing off, but unfortunately 1 more coming up in couple years😅.
The LC is I think the ONLY car that could potentially get me out of my beloved GS. I've test driven them, kicked the tires
, etc. One of these days I'll have a bad day at work and swing by the dealership and bring one home.

this is a video that must be watched at least at 1.25x playback speed. it's WAY too long and slow. but as an lc owner, it's nice to see an enthusiast and mechanic so enthusiastic about it!
I was in Lexus of Manhattan the other day and visited several other dealers - all on 11th Ave. Its like 5th Ave / Madison Ave shopping just for cars.
The Lex dealer is garbage and has had the same LFA sitting there for years.
The one poor LC500 was locked. Its a new dealership with no sense of a wow factor.
I feel bad that the LC is from Lexus and not a brand that would market and position in it the right way to attract clients.
Forgot to mention its a Lexus / Toyota Dealer together…..

why is the one LC500 'poor'? how many do you expect them to have? floor space ain't cheap in manhattan.

Amd is a mechanic but his YouTube videos are all for the sake of transforming his persona into that of a motoring journalist, which he clearly is not, but he would like to be because it grants him influencer perks like Kirk Kreifels. His business may not be in any trouble (that we know of), but I have no doubt that his goal is to become a full time influencer like Scotty because it's much more lucrative.

I’m not sure how you come to the conclusion that he’s trying to turn YouTube into a career…how did you come to that conclusion? He films videos late at night and operates his shop during the day as far as it appears to me. His videos are mostly about repairs and mechanics and he does reviews of some cars he gets as press cars, I’m sure that’s tons of fun. If I had a YT channel and I got press cars I might do the same thing too. All of us drive cars and post reviews here as an example, that’s fun. I’m sure his channel brings LOTS of people to his shop, same for the Car Wizard. I see nothing similar to Scotty from Amd…
Anyways, even if he were trying to turn YT into a career, what’s the big deal with that? Good for him. If I could make YouTube car videos and stop doing what I do for a living I’d be all over that.
The desire to tear down hardworking people is just very foreign to me.
