Avoid stellantis products
I am a car salesman I have worked at multiple cjdr dealerships and I cannot say this enough avoid these products like the plague.
Any 4xe they have is having a ton of issues replacing battery packs, frying electronics etc.
Then there is the 3.6 pentastar cam phaser issue which effects most of there products due to that engine being in almost everything. There is the 5.7 lifter tick issue, the 6.4 lifter issues, cam issues, and timing chains. Delmaninated radios in the pick ups and older unconnect 3&4 systems. There are major problems with brand new grand cherokee and cherokee L's they have no software updates to fix them same with compasses.
I sold a young gentleman a brand new compass trailhawk he had it for 18 hours maybe before his entertainment system climate controls etc stopped working. Couple bought a new $6x,xxx pacifica 3 days later major electronics issues.
I know this sounds like a rant but I ended up leaving stellantis and going to a different brand dealership as I could not in good conscience keep selling these piles of trash to people. The worst part is a good majority of these things are not being covered under warranty.
If anyone has any questions about stellantis products or stuff ask away.

Every brand has issues.
There are millions of Jeeps out there and a ton of Wranglers who have a very loyal following.
Imagine how ppl feel when they get a Porsche, Ferrari or other expensive vehicle that just breaks down or has horrible QC from factory.

MOPAR OR NO CAR!!!!!!! Yee YEE!
(I actually quite like them but god help you if you get a bad one) The Hemis are fine, it only takes 4 hours to replace the lifters/do a heads off and about 2 for a timing chain.....trans out and back in is 1.7 hours lol!

Recent Chargers and Challengers have actually been pretty good in the reliability department, according to Consumer Reports. The basic design and platform has been in production a long time, and most of the issues have been worked out. With most of the rest of the Stellantis line-up, though, you are rolling the dice.

I just had a Pacifica rental for the week while in Florida. So pokey and the transmission was…not helpful. I want to try out the PHEV one of these days. I’m sure it’s a better drivetrain.
Our rental did what we needed it to do, was tight without rattles, though wind noise was intrusive. I would still choose the Sienna over it, though.
However, my in-laws are at about 60k miles on their 17 Durango with the 3.6. They tow a trailer and are not easy on it. It’s been nearly flawless. Drove it again this week and it is still nice.
