I5 between NorCal and SoCal is pretty straight, some people drive over 100.

Yes, I usually arrive with 20 percent charge, so the next day I'll hit the super chargers, which are half mile from my brother's house

Drove up I5 just today and can confirm there were a large number of people driving massively faster than us, and we were doing 85 most of the way, so they were easily busting 100.

I've been traveling back and forth since 2001, and I've seen some horrific accidents. One time there was a pile up so bad, they had to land helicopters to get people to hospitals. I've seen cars shredded beyond recognition
