$3500 or so, not much overall. He will likely buy his way to $5-7k though with extras/the imported interior but to have it be factory correct/working as intended around $3.5k

Now if he decides to super it cost will be $15k and he is leaning toward a 525hp build if he likes the car a lot. Kit we are considering using is good to 875hp but that would require the manual conversion and a build of the actual engine. I told him that 450-500 would be possible without getting too much into it. Unlike Lexus Audi has insane aftermarket for any of the cars and I love it! Nothing like a 20 year old car outrunning then new ones lol!

 

That kind of thing has to be a labor of love. Will never make sense financially.

 

It does if you have a buyer/know how to sell it. Doesn't really matter here since he intends to keep it and eventually get a D4 as well.

Im looking at my R8 the same way, I'll probably never make money on it but I won't care since it's never leaving.
