Congrats! Looks like you have the 20" wheels? Did you get the Performance or LR like I did? Yes, the tech is amazing. Looks awesome...welcome to the Dark side, looking to hear your perspective!

Thanks! It's the LR like yours. My wife was worried about the Performance 21" wheels and curbing them. It seems like we have that same concern with the 20's, though. She just has to pay attention.
Congrats on your new car!
Is this your primary driver car now?
Thanks! It's my wife's primary vehicle, but we also own a '21 Ford Ranger. We've been mainly using that for road trips, but that will probably change now.
Nice! Won't be long before you start looking to replace the Ranger That's what happened when we got my wife her 3LR. GS's days were numbered shortly thereafter

We haven't used the our Sienna for a road trip in awhile, but will be using it this Friday to go to Tahoe. We have three extra people coming with us with a lot of luggage (7 people), so the Y stays home this weekend.
BTW, parking sensors work pretty well, they should prevent your wife from curbing the tires. They will draw a line between your car and the curb and warn you if you get too close. It's pretty conservative, so even if you hit the "red", there is still a good buffer between your car and the curb
What other cars did you consider and what sold you on the Y?
Thanks! We looked the id4, EV6/Ionic5, Mustang Mach-E and even a Q4 Etron just to see what the id4 should have been. The Y couldn't be beat on value and charging network. Oh, and we also tired of the typical dealer nonsense that was going on.

Be sure to do a follow-up report on your experience driving the Sienna. Looking forward to reading your thoughts regarding comfort, acceleration, economy, passing power, etc.

I don't think anyone would be very interested in hearing about my Sienna . Although it's been a great, reliable family hauler and has served us well for the last 10 years

i agree price and charging network (and easy purchase process) are the most compelling reasons to buy. more so than 'tech' (besides the excellent drivetrain) imo (and i'm a hard core techie).
but i still think the tesla interior is far and away the least attractive, well actually most are bad, the mach-e is horrible, the id.4 is super cheap too. i like the ev6/ioniq5 interior and on cars like the bmws (i4 and ix?) (and the mercedes ones). obviously bmw/mercedes are actual luxury cars. tesla has rightly gone for the mass market.
