This is a guy, let us not forget, who literally pays people to play video games on his behalf to make him look like a video game legend. You cannot trust anything related to Musk's followers, number of post likes etc. All inflated Kim Jong Un style to boost his ego.

I've had several members PM me telling me they no longer post in the Tesla business thread because of the anti Tesla trolling that goes on in here. This is supposed to be an informational thread, but it's devolved into a bunch of anti Tesla BS, which was never the intent of this thread, so I've emailed the mods to shut it down. You guys can create your own anti-Tesla threads and hammer away

 

I think thats over the top. There is lots of positive discussion about Tesla in this thread, but the reality is that Tesla is a very polarizing company for many reasons, and there are positive and negative reactions.

 

This is not just my reaction, this is the reaction of at least three members who used to post here, but don't anymore. And I'm sure I'm going to get PM's from many other members. This thread wasn't intended to surmise how many bots Elon has on X, or how big the trash fire X has become. Nor was it created to prove or disprove what a villain Elon is. We already know he's a very polarizing figure. This thread wasn't created to defend Tesla, but neither was it to troll Tesla. It's intended for the reporting of good news, bad news, new products, updates, failures etc. But that's not what's happening. It's just become people reinforcing their negativity, and that's not why this thread was created

 

Unfortunately, that's the polarizing nature of Musk and by extension Tesla at work. I don't think Tesla is being trolled here, personally...I think a lot of issues come up that are legitimate issues and like with any discussion it ebbs and flows.

I might suggest that people who are sensitive to criticism of Tesla and Musk not engage and try so hard to defend both and not try and discredit those who post less than positive things. If you just let people make their points the discussion will move on from things you don't want to read more quickly.

 

‘I don’t think you are gonna see a sales increase this year. 2024 worldwide sales were down, and 2025 are off to a decline as well. Tesla needs new product and cheaper products. I think the Tesla Y’s new styling tweaks are fantastic, but the vehicle design is aging. And there is a limit on how many people are willing to buy from their ordering or “direct” style of sales structure.

Personally I like Elon, but I think Tesla would benefit if a Tim Cook like leader was to take over.

 

Good news. I've been elevated to at least top 3 of Tesla fanboys here now.
