You should definitely than go out and test drive one. They are a great vehicle. I've already posted what I think are it's weak points, those may not be weak points to you

i generally don't test drive vehicles until i'm ready to buy or it's for someone else. 1) i don't need the temptation, lol, and 2) the tesla place is 90 mi. away.

In that case, you'll definitely really want to want one before driving 180 mile round trip. I love test driving different cars, I would do it all the time...if I had the time

Randall Cobb's wife saying their Tesla charger caught on fire and burned their home. Be interesting to see what the investigation concludes.

These chargers have failsafe's built into them, I'm not saying this is the case, but I would bet it wasn't wired properly or didn't have the proper breaker fuse. One of my brother in laws Tesla chargers failed...turned out to be the electrician didn't wire it correctly

That's probably what they will find.
I haven't seen the inside of a Tesla Charger box but it could be possible the box caught on fire internally although it should have popped a breaker first, one would hope.

There's not really a lot in a charger that could cause a fire. Only time will tell if that was the cause here. Everyone looks for a reason when something happens, I do have some doubts if the charger itself cause a fire. As others have said, indirect causes like installation errors etc are a possibility.

And that's the problem, we only have half the story

On a high current device, you don't stack boxes next to it or lean your golf bag in it

Lots of room for human error from installation to not giving the device clearance from surrounding objects.

PS, you all would be surprised how many people do not have working smoke detectors and at least one fire extinguisher on hand for emergencies, such as a device catching fire, if it actually did.

Q2 deliveries down a little but higher than analysts expectations. Notably, roughly 30,000 more delivered than produced so inventories must be reducing. Stock up premarket.

Tesla energy doubled QoQ but people will continue to ignore this part of the business.

What I find sad about all of this is I sold half my TSLA to buy Nvidia....and they have almost reversed their directions. The hilarity about the whole thing is my wife complaining about TSLA going down and now she's complaining that I sold it and it's going up

To make myself feel better, I tell myself I've "diversified". Good God, I can never win 🤣🤣🤣

so I’m starting a new investment fund. The ticker will be AMRZ, and the investment strategy will be to look at what @AMIRZA786 has done with his stocks, and then do the polar opposite
