Pincher bug front styling. Not getting this look on many new GM's. Tail looks good though.
Will compete with the similar Avalon... if that car is still sold in other countries.
No surprises here. Buick did the same thing to the new Lacrosse that they did to the all-new 2024 Envista and the 2024 Encore GX mid-cycle update.....copied the show-car Wildcat's front-end shark-nose grille and styling, added that same new wide-screen dash, and used the same new tri-color badge. The Lacrosse's steering wheel is different, though, from the Envista and Encore GX........ it looks like it was taken from a recent Hyundai or Kia product.
Just noticed one other thing....the front-fender imitation-portholes are gone, something that started several years ago on other Buick models. One more Buick tradition headed for the museums.

They will gobble up every one in China that can be produced. The Chinese LOVE Buicks...it is as much of a national-symbol in that country as eating rice. Over there, they are not like many here in there U.S. that consider it mainly a geriatric brand. 80% of Buick's worldwide sales come from China.

The only way Chinese cringe about Buicks is if they can't get enough of them LOL. .
Sales were down 18% last year in China and Buick isn’t even in the top 10 of brands sold there so maybe they have had enough. Now, if you were talking VW you’d most likely be correct (maybe not the rice part)..
