Now back to the MY... Do you know... MY has more second leg room than MX? MX just has more shoulder room. And MY7 has more second row legroom then std MY. I would never think so.
I'm not one those "EV folks" you mentioned . I'm more interested in efficiency. For example, I'm totally floored knowing that a 384 hp vehicle only used an equivalent of 62 gallons of gas over 7,000 miles! I admit it

BTW my charging is on a schedule. It will not start charging until 12am, and once finished, it won't charge again unless I manually start the charging cycle
Same here. Mine starts at 1:00 AM

Maybe this is just a MY "feature" 😉

Do you mind give me the nuts and shells on the equivalent of 62 gallons over 7,000mile? I don't think you got it for efficiency, but that's OK.

See post #908:

Did some rudimentary calculations. It's possible I'm off + or - 10 gallons .

You're correct, I didn't get it for it's efficiency, that's just a side effect. Kind of like taking Ozempic for diabetes and having weight loss as a side effect. BTW, I'm not diabetic nor do I take Ozempic

Another update from Tesla. This one has some major updates to the maps, including estimates of when a supercharger will be available

I bought a car because I googled it can get over 500 miles on 1 tank of gas. At the time my daily commute was 200 miles. 2 tanks of gas ($40 a week at the time) got me thru the 5 day work week.

Where is it mentioned that there are major updates as far as supercharger availability specifically?

Here's what mine says , and it should say the same thing theoretically as it's not model or region specific

Mine shows minor fixes, too. The SC predictive availability came out with the prior update, according to my release notes.

Scroll down and read the release notes for 2023.38. We received that update plus the minor fix, which is .6

Oh sorry I don't read every single post. Just tried to understand your post 908. Your math is way out of whack. This guy below is more right.

Maybe he should also post how much he paid for the charging so we can see how much "efficient" it really is. Where you guys are, I have no doubt it's significant.

What @swajames meant was that if I had been driving a regular ICE vehicle that gets around 30 MPG, I would be using over 200 gallons of gasoline. Because EV's are way, way more efficient, I used around 62 gallons equivalent. Let me explain how it's calculated:

1 gallon of gas = 33.7 kWh
I burned a total of 2,035 kWh electricity over 7,278 miles
That actually comes out to 60.39 gallons of gasoline

I probably paid an average of 0.18 cents per kWh, so the total would around $366, give or take a few dollars

The latest update now shows bike lanes and stop signs

It also correctly identifies trashcans

And lastly, it identifies vehicles, it used to think van's and pick-ups were trucks

so, neat parlor trick that it is to display all the things the car recognizes ahead, but what really is the purpose/value of it? i mean you could also look out the giant pieces of glass around you.

The images are being optimized for it's AI, FSD/Autopilot. No other reasons. I still think it's totally cool 😎
