Arrived...2023 Model Y in Black
Phone as a key works flawlessly on my truck but you can also get in using a keypad code, and then start and drive the truck with a secret backup code so you don't even need your phone never mind a key.
iPhone would’ve connected flawlessly 😆
Took the BMW on roadtrip and we stopped for fuel about 20 min away before heading out. That’s when we realized we didn’t have a physical key fob with us. Wife thought I had my key and I thought she had her key because she typically leaves her in her purse. Instead of going back home, we proceeded on with our trip using our phone as a key.
Several months ago I believe it was a 2012/2013 Toyota Camry LE or SE. Front bumper had a crack in it. Called local body shop. New front bumper painted installed $725.

they are not installed on delivery, it's an add on in the 3 and Y for I want to say $300. The Tesla service technician has to come to your house to install the module
I didn't know you could do this

But it requires a dealer visit!

I used the MyQ app that's included in the apps for 2 years. It cost ~$45/yr. It worked great the first year, but started to act up last year. The garage always opened fine, but would reopen after being closed about 1 out of every 5 times, so haven't renewed it and just use the old button remote now. The issue never happens when just using the free MyQ app on my phone, so it must have something to do with the Tesla app. I think it's just a money grab for Tesla to make Homelink a $350 option.

I suspect that's not the MyQ app, it may be something with the garage itself. My garage now does that with both the remote and physical button. I think something has become misaligned or a spring losing tension etc in my case. Your case may be different if this doesn't happen with the actual remote or physical button
I remember my friend taking pics of my car in the body shop as well as a friends Y that suffered the same fate as yours except he was backing up his rear door caught his extra wide jeeps tire. When I saw progress pics all the panels were off the car and I asked him why it was that way and were there sensors or something? He told me with Teslas it is easier/quicker to take off all the body panels vs taping them all up. I wonder what Tesla’s body shop does.
