cool idea and for me at least a huge improvement over only having that giant center panel.

However looking at it I think there might issue with usability.. it’s a touch screen which also has CarPlay & AA (also a great add to address a tesla gap). How do you reach through the steering wheel to touch it while driving? Seems pretty dangerous.

That's a good question. I think it integrates with the main infotainment screen and steering wheel buttons. I'll have to read more on it. This is also not the only third party cluster gauge on the market, like this one:

Or these:

I'm thinking about getting the Carbon Fiber spoiler, but they are sold out right now

$800, which includes installation

I think those tack on things are....wait for it...tacky. They do look better on white, I wouldn't spend $800 use that to buy some premium floor mats.

I already bought All weather mats from Weathertech. As I understand, these are actually functional

I love duck tail spoilers, functional or not. Maybe you could graft on a whale tail, ala Porsche?

Very interesting. I didn't know about this. I just browsed their site and 3 and Y don't have instrumental cluster? I guess one needs to look at the panel to see how fast they're going? From his post, it seems like there's a huge market which makes sense. I would have to have one for sure if I had one of these.

I've driven several Model 3's, and for me it's not an issue as it's just a slight glance to the right to see speed etc. But I might get the Alt- buttons that Lex posted

wow, have you been living under a rock? there's only been a billion posts discussing how some are fine with just the center screen and others wouldn't (or are very unlikely to) buy a vehicle that doesn't have gauges in front of the driver. the model x and s do have a gauge module in front of the driver (behind the steering wheel or yoke).

$800? seems steep and i don't think it looks good on a white car but yours is black so would imo look better.

AMIRZA786,
We're on page 10 now. I hope I'm right so we can see you new car soon.

and the VC. You can see how much I'm interested in EVs at the moment. Believe or not all my EVs knowledge is gained from reading Car Chats posts. I browsed their site after seeing this post about the cluster and also noticed there's no 360 view on their site. I thought that's interesting but I guess it's tesla. I remember one time a video about tesla self driving pop up on my social media so I thought it'd be a good discussion topic. I posted. And guess what... you know what happened. Lol. It was really the first time I watched a tesla self driving video. From that point I tend to not say certain things because it will make me sound like I'm negative about tesla and upset certain people. But for sure certain things don't make sense. People somehow are fine with these missing items.
