Looks like the rumours are true and there will be a Toyota Century SUV, as this was spotted testing in Japan. Almost Genesis-esque with the double lighting elements but will likely be in single housings like the Century Sedan. Going to be riding on the updated GA-K platform most likely.
I never thought I would see the day where a 4-cylinder Toyota Century would exist.
Ohhh no!! I really hope that won't be the case. Toyota loves delaying or cancelling stuff, they should consider doing so here and avoid making a 4 cylinder Century.

Not sure what it could have other than RX500h powertrain really. Unless they somehow carry over a legacy 450h setup of V6 but it's highly unlikely. Had they actually decided to make a RWD SUV like Limitless then they would have had a chance to transfer LC500h setup. Anyway I guess they want to commercialize Century brand as well and have it on top of the chain that looks something like this Rav4 > Kluger > Harrier > Crown > RX > Century
Never saw even a remote rumor on it having a 4 cyl, it was either going to keep what the current Century had or the other rumor was based off the current Highlander Hybrid engine.
Just realized that this also has the "two lines" headlamps and tail lamps like a Genesis lol.

The platform it sits on is the FWD GA-K which has never had anything bigger than a naturally aspirated 6-cylinder put inside of it. And since Toyota is phasing out their V6 and replacing it with their turbo 4 and hybrid variants of in all future GA-K models, it is almost a guarantee that this will also be a turbo hybrid 4-cylinder. In fact I bet this thing under the skin is identical to the Grand Highlander.
Cant get it, cant afford it, love it. Its bad enough they built it on a pedestrian platform instead of the GAL so I do hope they reinforced the heck out of the structure. Otherwise it will be a shuddery $150k embarassment.
