Umm, I can turn off DRL's in my Polestar, our Sienna, my daughters Bolt, and our Ioniq. I could also turn them off in my former IS350 and 2006 Camry. I guess those darned cars like breaking the law....

Anyway back to topic. I really love the Polestar 2's implementation of Headlights and Tail Lights

Love the LC500 tail lights, don't think I've ever seen the mirrored effect used on any other car before

the LC definitely has the best looking taillights. Or most creative use of lighting

Audi's very early dotted-LED DRL strips that debuted on the Type 42 and B8 are to date one of my favourite headlights of all time. I feel like the dotted LEDs are such a unique and iconic look. Additionally, the original Halo-rings/angel-eyes that someone else posted here from the E39, to the E90 and E60, are amazing.

Just a thought....
What a concept huh?

Bringing it back, I love headlights and taillights too,

I really like the headlights and taillights on mine, although I preferred the pre-refresh W222 taillights.

First ever tails I saw that have substantial Z depth were on 2nd gen Vanquish from late 2000s. They looked really cool on the road. Actually the whole car looked awesome cause it was so wide at the rear. Very underrated GT car imo.

I saw this one at a car show about 10 years ago. I thought they look very interesting. It looks like the car is staring at you. Still looks very modern after a decade.

Imho...the refreshed Fiat Viper headlight treatment didn't really fit the sinister nature of the Viper. I prefer the original, but to each their own!

YESSS, the pre-facelift D4 A8 and pre-facelift C7 A6/7 headlights with the dramatic dotted LEDs are soooo good. Wasn't a fan of the facelifted headlights that replaced the A6/7/8.

Wife finally sent the better pictures over.....

LS460, the housings have a crystal like effect

This is closer to what you would see on the road

W12

4.0TT, the effect of the small bars leading into the highbeam/matrix system bank is interesting

DRLs

This is what I meant that the 460 has a illuminated crystal like effect, the housing internal area has a glow to it.

Yeah the prefacelift A8 you got is the most distinctive IMO. the dramatic swoosh of the LEDs stands out so well.
