i'm very interested to see if the majority of the folks here had lexus vehicles to begin with but now have moved on.
My first Toyota was in 1996 (Corolla LE), and I have actually only owned one Lexus, a 2010 IS350 Sport I bought in 2019. Altogether I bought 7 Toyotas over the last 30 years. Almost bought a 2017 GSF in 2020, but someone picked it up before me. There is nothing currently in the Lexus line that interests me at this point
I had a 10th gen 2018 Civic Si, got the itch to go back to a manual. Installed Two Step Performance stage 1 tune, Mishimoto Intercooler and a performance exhaust. Had it about a year, but it just wasn't for me, so bought a 2nd Gen IS350 and sold it. Fun car though
We have a 1994 NSX in the family trust and it's essentially my brother's car. Driving it is really an exceptional experience because despite the fact it is not the higherst hp car on the road, it was built for the driver. The clutch feel in that car ruined most modern trans cars for me because the NSX clutch has a feel and the modern manual trans cars don't. I am a curmudgeon and I admit it, but I like a clutch that fights back a little.

I admit it, I'm a woose . The clutch feel on the Civic was good, but I didn't like the shifting, which was very notchy. I also added the Acuity shift kit to make it smoother and less notchy feeling. You would probably like the Toyota 86, the shifting is very driver centric and analogue. I drove my friends back in 2019 and you had to put some effort in shifting, no drivers assistance there!
oh that is a beauty! i can immediately tell this is a "good" stingray from the concave rear bumper, after like '72 or '73 they changed the design and reduced the output to like 180hp lol
if i had that (especially in that color) i'd constantly be doing a chris tucker impression and telling people to never touch the radio

That would be me. I drove a 2001 Lexus GS430 for 330,000 (well, for 300,000 of those miles, bought it used). Loved that car with all my heart. Sold it with 330,000 miles because it was still running strong, and still looked decent (the tan interior was beat, but the exterior looked pretty good).
I always knew I was moving on to a German car at some point (for the enhanced driving experience), so my next one was a 2015 BMW M4. And I've been with BMW ever since. I'm currently saving for a manual Porsche Spyder, so here's hoping Wall Street stays strong into 2024 so I can pull some money out.
At this point, my requirement for enhanced driving thrills has moved beyond Lexus (since I can't afford an LFA ), but I still recommend Lexus and Toyota vehicles all the time to family and friends.
I've enjoyed multiple Toyota and Lexus cars through the years which included a MKIV Toyota Supra, Lexus SC300, and a Lexus SC430. All are gone but never forgotten.
Nowadays, the garage is filled with a different set of fun cars to enjoy as daily drivers and/or weekend warriors.

Hey Red, good to see you. Miss you guys in the 2nd gen IS forum! As usual, class and style!
Daily drivers had been constant until recently. Wife is on second ES300h, a 2019. I had about 20 yrs of MDXs, along with a string of low mileage used LSs I would buy from a client/friend when either he or his wife would get new models. However, in 2019 I bought a very low mileage 15 S550 from another client/friend. That spoiled me, so last year I went on the lookout for a current generation GLS450, and found a 2020 which I purchased in November to replace the 20 MDX. So below are our current three vehicles. However, I am enjoying the combination of luxury and utility in the GLS so much, I will likely sell the S550 in the next couple of months.
