1: Most fuel efficient car dont want to go Mt Seymour because it wastes gas?
2: 2 of us broke off and caught LOTS of lights and can't catch until we're at the destination (we tried to catch a lot on highway already)
3: Gas sipper didn't follow the lead on return trip thus all cars followed him... I tried to catch and flooring it everywhere I can to re-lead but he went what? 200? I tried my best, but my MR2 does not go 200. by the time I am on top of Taylor way you guys are on Lionsgate.
Next time if that guy comes let me know earlier, I'll be bringing out the CL600 just so I have a chance to catch his gas sipper.
It's a cruise, not a race, if someone doesn't know how to lead, fall back.
omg, 200? be glad you guys didn't get busted for going that fast. that's an automatic tow to the pound and license suspension (i think)....
It was a good meet organized by yakuza other than the driving faster than cruising speeds. made it hard to stay together and sketchy. i thought we were following solo the entire time back until he called me.
As long as we keep to posted speeds, not draw attention and have a good time, then it's a good meet. Oh well, next time.
Unfortunately I didn't take any shots that night. But we started off by meeting up at the Home Depot by Gilmore and cruised down to Deep Cove. We originally planned to go Mt. Seymour but someone was complaining there was nothing to do there and his car would over heat going uphill, so Deep Cove was suggested. After we got to Deep Cove we were looking for places to eat or coffee but being evening most places were closed in this area. Being kinda late and no one has eaten yet, we were debating on where to eat. Kevin (Solo) suggested to go to Benkei on Broadway to grab some ramen. This is where everything got confusing. Kevin lead the pack and our friend Fit (who had his agenda going through downtown) was behind him and I was following him and everyone else behind me. I thought we were all hitting the highway together and then the Fit would break away go downtown and we all follow Kevin. Once we got to the highway I noticed Kevin wasn't even in our convoy anymore. So now we're all following the Fit at this point who's speeding and dodging in and out of traffic on the highway. Not to mention hitting every red light on Robson made it ridiculously hard for a convoy to stay together.
Anyways we all manage to get to Benkei and enjoy a hot big bowl or Ramen
