Good Day, eh?!
New to this forum, but not new to forums, or "enthusiastic" vehicles, or Lexus. In fact, I work for one of Canada's newest Lexus stores, having arrived after 30+ years with a now-former GM store. It would seem as though we all put our pants/slacks on one leg at a time, regardless of "loyalties"...

Actually, I was asked where I live...and I replied... Should I NOT have?
I didn't mention a dealer name...
I don't see a "New Members Introduction" on this Forum either...
And I didn't use a business name for a "nom de plume"...
But I do live in Canada...
Thanks for the warm greeting.

Jetfire, I'm really not offended, just surprized is all...
I currently own (cover your eyes!!) a '70 Buick GS 455 Stage 1 Convertible (original Kingston car, fully "restified") and an '87 Buick Regal Turbo-T (original owner-"undercover GN", tweaked). As a "driver", I have an '07 IS 350 Sport with 23K km in double-Black (nice package), but am on the hunt for a lightly-used IS F (isn't everyone?).

Thanks for your interest.

Reg Riemer of the Super Supra? Remember him well! One badass car! And one genuinely nice guy...
One Lap exploits started in '91 with my long-time friend Dan Corcoran, in his former GM/Player's Challenge '88 T/A. In '92-93, I ran off-the-showroom-floor Grand Prix GTs with the 3.4 TwinCam. '94-forward, worked with Dan's "Canadian Cancer Society" fun(d)raising efforts...'95 featured a one-of-two-built 1LE Formula (quite a story of how we got that car built by GM...), '96-97 run with the same 'Bird after a GM HighTech Performance Magazine Project Car "tweaking" (Paxton-blown 383 LT1), '98 saw a rather unique "Firehawk Lite" built from a body-in-white (again, magazine-featured) with the same (freshened) blown 383 SBC (another interesting story of creativity...) which finished SECOND OVERALL. After 2003, the 'Bird was getting tired, so I found Dan a 10,000 km, never-rained-on '01 Z06 which became a VETTE Magazine Project One Lap tech series piece (eventually Lingenfelter TT'd with carbon fibre widebody/winged World Challenge-style conversion) that eventually finished SECOND OVERALL in '06. Dan just completed his 20th consecutive One Lap (and perhaps last?), having raised better than a 1/4 million for Cancer Research. Dan and Reg have spent more than a few moments together... "Someday", there's a books-worth of "stories" (mostly true) to be written/told about "20 Years of OLOA"...
Say "Hey!" to Reg, from the Crazy Canucks in Kingston.

Our shop is still going strong and we've been building some really nice cars over the years. I will PM you Reg's email, you should drop him a line and say hi, he loves hearing from old friends.
nice to meet you. I'm glad we have some knowledgeable people on the forum with real race experience.
