Preferred Mechanics
Hey everyone. Just finished my latest tour over in Afghanistan and picked up a pair of Lexus cars. I know in the sportbike world there's usually a few preferred mechanics in every region that everyone takes their vehicles to and I was wondering if it's the same for our Lexus cars. I'm not a huge fan of getting screwed over by the dealers and there's far too many independent garages for me to know who actually does good work. I was hoping some of the more long term owners can recommend me some garages/mechanics to take my new to me cars to. I live in 91709, but am willing to travel an hour or so if the mechanic comes highly recommended. Thanks in advance!

Welcome to Club Lexus.
There are a variety of maintenance shops but most will be a drive from Chino Hills.
Dynamic Auto Services in Midway City-Orange County
Vinam in Midway City-Orange County
Luxury MotorWorks in Monrovia
Lextech- Silverlake-Los Angeles.
There are older threads to search for places in Diamond Bar and Pomona areas.
What do you need done to you car?

Thanks for all the recommendations! There's nothing currently wrong with either of my vehicles, but it's always good to know about the local go-to mechanics.

just got off the phone with vinam, he said if i bring my own parts.. spark plugs/fuel filter for $100
and all 4 struts for $160..
honestly its a pita to work on these v6's i might as well pay a pro at those rates.. also he said he'd throw in a free inspection, taking my cousin's tt supra and the es up there, and i'll let you guys know how it goes but im sure its fine

i did this on Vinam @ Midway City few months ago on my GX470. So cheap, you'll be surprised. call them
