i know you're not trying to offend me, but dont mistake not wanting to spend money on things that shouldnt need to be fixed, with not having money to fix things. I have 3 cars. None of the cars ive ever owned have had this many problems in such a short amount of time. i bought this car as a fun car i could tinker with and drive on sunny days. I have yet to be able to even drive it without something going wrong.

Im not going to go out and buy a forth car and sell this one at a loss unfixed. As i stated previously i wouldnt sell a car i knew had problems with it, to someone. i wouldnt want someone going through what i have to deal with at the moment.

the way the v8 is setup is flawed.
Your PS pump sits right on top of your alternator
When it leaks, it drips down onto the alternator frying it.
Then it eats away at your PS rack until it seizes.
1 failure turns into 3.
Sorry to hear dude.

I appreiciate all the support. Like everything else it will get fixed, and ill fall back in love with her because shes such a sexy *****, were just having a fight right now.

I also want to convey that the person who sold me this car never knew any of these problems existed, or more likely, they didnt exist when he owned it. Hes a good guy and hes not someone that would sell anything broken to anyone.

One of those unlucky breaks (or series of breaks ) that happens from time to time. mechanic says it will be out of the shop before the weekend so i should be at the dim sum meet.

And if its not fixed by then, o well, You win some and you dim sum =)

yeah, honestly i think u just had bad luck when u got the car. mike had no issues with the car, he kept it in great shape as it was his show car for audio. he had his civic hb and other cars at the time to drive around in.

sorry to hear about all the problems you have. if there's any consolation, there is a rainbow at the end of the rainstorm. when you finish repairing your car, it will be like new!

I'm starting to feel better too ... but that's not in any way related to car issues.

Lol I had the same issues when i got it.

FYI: fix your Power steering pump asap cuz the fluid is dripping on to your alternator which will kill it.

power steering fluid should be dextron III which is a tranny fluid. shouldnt be corrosive or anything but leaking fluids are never good.

So we tried to take the resevoir to a tranny shop today and flush in on there machine. We got it to flow better then it did but it still bubbles a up a bit. The tranny shop said they couldnt hook it to tyhere machine they way they wanted to. Mechanic is going to hook it all back up and im going to order the part from soemone on this site. drive it until i get new one and swap it in.
