Default Vacation Plans in Vancouver

Hey Guys! I just came back from my trip to Vancouver and man, it's gorgeous there. Love the women to men ratio!!!!! I must've seen like 20+ ASIAN girls that were HOT, and you don't really see that many fine girls here in Los Angeles in one spot.

I'm planning another trip there and this time taking my Mom and Step Dad from Japan.

We went biking in Stanly park, Aquarium and shopped around the downtown area, but is there anything else you guys recommend me doing?

Thanks in advance and why the heck are cigarettes so darn Expensive!!!!?!?!?!??!!

haha cigs are heavily taxed to discourage people to smoke
or generate a nice income for the government rather...

you can also try the lynn canyon suspension bridge
its free compared to the capilano suspension bridge

http://www.dnv.org/ecology/see_do/see_do.html

theres also deep cove thats beautiful
http://www.deepcovebc.com/parksdeepcove.html

you guys can also drive up to whistler or take the shuttle bus there and stay there for a day or two

helicopter tour! it's a good time and you get to see a lot

trip up to grousse mountain, i think you can have dinner and what not on top and see the city, (i have no idea how good the food may or may not be)

people like to go to UBC, if you bike that's a good time, bike from the area called Kits to UBC and back again

depending on when you're coming there should be some kinda summer event happening (fireworks, PNE/fiar) they're kinda gong show ish but there are ways to still take them in and not be part of all the stupidity

take a day trip to whistler and see some stuff, you can mountian bike there or shop ... its a fun drive if you can be not in the middle of the construction delays

that's all i got rite now

unrelated: lol david, know your goat ... do you know your goat?

your welcome
give me a call if u need more ideas

grouse mountain is nice too for the gondola ride experience and the view of the city on a clear day
or you can drive up half way on cypress mountain so you dont have to pay for the gondola ride

theres a nude beach btw
Wreck beach beside UBC

eating wise, there are a couple of really good japanese restaurants on Denman
Izakaya and Guu are the two that I would recommend, dont go to the ones in Richmond, not as good as the downtown ones

we should meet up but im going to toronto on 5-9 and might be going to san jose for a few days before that too

I guess Wreck beach is ok if you like old nude women...went there and I was HIGHLY disappointed.

BTW Whistler is a winter resort about 2-3h from Vancouver where people go to ski and just chill

lol, like the seinfeld eppisode, good naked or bad naked

and you never know, there just might be a CL meet while you're around ... or let us know when you're coming and some1 might plan a meet for the time (BUT NOT ME) ...

Steveston "Fisherman's Wharf" in the summer if you want salmon and other seafood. (Steveston Hwy & No. 1 Road)

QE Park is nice during the fall when the leaves turn red. Plenty of people take their wedding/grad photos there (Cambie & King Edward or Cambie & 45th Ave)
