Just to add to my previous post about Llumar ATX...

I noticed that when looking out the rear windshield, there was this "hazy" look (for lack of a better description). I took it back to Thornhill Tints (3 days after installation) and they said it was still "wet" and to give it some time. It has now been 9 days and I still have the hazy look. I also notice it slightly when looking out the front side windows if I'm looking out at an angle (e.g. not perpendicular to the side windows but like a 45 degree angle). Is this normal? I'm thinking not. I am going to try and take it in tomorrow and see what they say.

Tint Master in Mississauga has been my place for the last 20 years that tint my cars and soon my house. Just let James know Ken with the Black LS430 sent you for a great deal on their Solar Gard tint.

I made such a big mistake by not going to tintmaster this time. I just took my car back to 3mtrimline to get them to fix the bubbles. First they told me this was normal and no shop would be able to tint without some bubbles, but then said they would fix it in the back because it was really bad.

The bubbles are still there, nothing was fixed / replaced... I couldn't believe it. I am very disappointed with my experience to say the least. I should have just gone back to tintmaster instead of trying something new.

I wonder if they will just give me my money back and remove the tint??? Now I have to go back a 4th time just to get my key and find out why they didn't do anything. Something as simple as tint can really **** you off when customer service and quality are not important to a business.

I've heard good things about audio heaven.. they're a sponsor on a couple of GTA forums.. they have a lifetime warranty and the tint is fairly cheap..

I just had my 3m tint removed and went to tintmaster to get the solarguard charcoal 22%. Tintmaster did a really good job, and 3mtrimline gave me my $ back because of the bad tint job that was done at their shop. At least they honoured their word. They said they used a new tint guy and were sorry for my inconvenience. Commendable. I am happy with my new tint and glad I got my $ back, but annoyed that I had to go through the hassle.

Just thought I would share... Tintmaster is the place to go...

Glad to hear that James and Jim at Tint Master were able to get you all fixed up and tinted properly. Please post some pics when you get a chance. I went with the Charcoal tint on my former G35 Coupe which matched up really well with the car.

Would you mind sharing how much you paid and how long it took? Thanks!

I love this forum!
I am going to Thornhill tints now to get 30% all around. Maybe I'll talk him into doing 20 in the back and 30 up front.

I'll post pics!

my buddy owns Auto Tint Center at Port Union in Scarborough. He uses the 3M tint and it is what I put on all my vehicles.

Do NOT go to tintguys in Vaughan. Terrible business attitude and the tint job had bubbles everywhere. Had to argue for over an hour to get half of my money back on my previous car.

Take your cars to thornhill tints in Richmond hill. They do an amazing job, let you watch the whole process and answers every question you have. There's a reason most of the dealerships around Richmond hill use them for their vehicles including Mercedes, Lexus and BMW.

Any shop that let's you watch them work is usually a good shop who knows what they are doing.
