I've seen police on motorcycles quite a bit lately on the Georgia viaduct right by the exit (off ramp) down to Main Street. They've always got people pulled over...kind of like shooting fish in a barrel.
i got busted last year for having tinted windows...what i'm ticked off is that my tint is so light you can barely call it a tint and i've never been busted the whole year that i had the car, so it's inconsistency on their part

i got my tint taken off because of a "take off in 7 days" ticket from police but it was in coquitlam near ikea about 1.5 years ago

wow that sucks. The two that I saw him pulled over were pretty dark tint (I'd guess 35%).
I've seen some really light ones (50% maybe?). They look ok but I guess it depends how picky they want to be. Technically any tint is illegal but I'd say focus on the darker ones cause those are harder to see the driver and as a pedestrian (or even a fellow driver), it's hard to see whether the other driver acknowledges your presence or not and whether you can cross the street or change lanes.
