Hey, here's my predicament:

I ordered an engine from Tokyo Motor Imports, Inc in Montreal. I bought a 1jz for 1250 shipped, and after 2 weeks of calling everyday, they finally sent it out. I get it, and it has the WRONG ECU. Great, so now I find a new ECU, and I get the guy working there (Abdul) to agree to WIRE me $80 to compensate for the ECU being wrong.

It has been 3 weeks, and I've been calling 3 times a day, and still no money. I've been hearing the same story for almost a month, and I'm tired of it. I'll be willing to give anyone here half ($40) if they can go there, get my money, and send me the remainder. The big problem with them not getting me the money is that they don't get around to actually go to the bank and say what they're going to do. I know they HAVE the money.

I don't know what to do so far, as I don't like to play around with money, which they're obviously doing.

Oh, and no one on clublexus should ever deal with them, business wise. I made a big mistake, and should have gone with Jarco or Jhot imports.

Can anyone help?

tokyo motors are ****ing croocks and you chose the worst of the worst of import companies in montreal
furthermore, i will talk more **** about this company on the forum im a member of until you get your money!

I got my money back, after 2 weeks of calling 3 times a day and yelling at them everyday. I would never deal with them, and I hope they go out of business with dealings like that.

 

you should have posted on the main forums about them. my friend purchased a 4g63t from them a mitsubishi engine from them and he got screwed.

we opened his engine up and found out that half the pistons where turbo pistons and the rest where not, it was opened up.

Man I hate to say it but i've only heard horror storries about Tokyo. I ordered an engine from them a long time ago (SR20) and it didn't come with anything they promised either.

Bite into them as hard as you can, they are bottom line terrible people.

 

The worst thing is that they dont know we are talking about them so they can improve service. Someone should tip them off!! I think
