My sister calls me this morning crying and tells me she can't find her rims in the garage. Then she tells me she doesn't see my set of rims either. Im not at home at this moment, but really pissed off at the fact that someone had the adacity to walk into my garage and steal 2 sets of rims (not sure what else is missing), especially in my quiet neighbourhood. I live in a quiet thornhill neighbourhood and not much goes on in this area, but please keep a look out for these rims:
19" Racing Hart C2's (silver finish) 5x114.3 fitment (Lexus)
19" TSW Thruxton (gun metal) 5x112 fitment (BMW)
Please becareful guys, especially since its Christmas season and there are alot of sheitheads who want to make your Christmas a miserable one.
I would ask your neighbors if they might have seen any suspicious activity. Everytime i hear about stuff like this, it prompts me to want to put a camera infront of my house just incase something like this were to happen. to those a$$-holes. I hope you find them, and get your rims back, keep an eye out on ebay and craigslist. If you see either of them in your area or around your area, act like a prospective buyer and take a look. If they are yours call the cops.
I hope i can claim this through home insurance since it was stolen inside the garage and the rims were already off the car in storage. If not, im gonna have to hunt these ****'s down.
i feel your pain. when i used to live in an apartment i had kept my winter set locked up in storage, but access to it was from the underground parking. one night some thieves came in and ransacked the storage unit and i lost my wheels and tires. i tried to claim through house insurance but the premiums would have gone through the roof and it would have been cheaper just to buy a replacement set on my own
That sucks!
Is it too late to say nice rims?
I will keep my eye open on toronto boards as well.
Same sort of thing happened to me.
I live just outside the GTA, not much around, very quiet.
I had a car up for sale with lots of stereo equipment in it, drove by one day and noticed the window was open a bit (the car was in a field approx. 300 feet away from my house closer to traffic driving by). Got to the car and the interior had been gutted! I didn't have any insurance on the car at the time as it was not being driven.
I know how it feels, hope you find the rims...its happened before.
