Default 2010 IS350 Sport Build thread

Hello everyone. As a lot of you have already seen a few of my threads, I have a 2010 IS350 Sport I bought on September 8, 2019. It originally had a little over 52K on it, and I was lucky as it was pretty clean only needing tires, breaks and rotors. Below are pics of the exterior and interior

In January of this year, due to a small shiny spot on the dash, I decided to take the car to my local dealership to see if it qualified for the extended warranty on the "sticky dash" issue plaguing a lot of 2nd gens. Thankfully it was still covered, and the dealership installed a new dashboard. This was essentially, my first mod!

Around May or June 2020 period I started my next phase which was to improve the cars handling and steering feel. I installed F-Sport front and rear sway bars and RR Racing Polyurethane LCA bushings

F-Sport Sway bars

RR Racing Polyurethane LCA bushings

I also ended up replacing my Sway bar end links due to the front sway bar rattling

My next step to the build...change the stock eps ecu to an ISF ecu. I found a used, already calibrated one that came from a 2010 ISF. This was a fairly easy and straightforward upgrade with great results which I already have an extensive thread on

So I've gone this far, why not enhance the induction sound! I got a great deal on an F-Sport Intake

After a few months of driving on the RR Racing Polyurethane LCA bushings, I felt the front was a little more stiff than I wanted, so I decided to compromise and switched them out for RC-F LCA bushings with great results

I also have an extensive thread on my thoughts on them and how well they perform: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...-bushings.html

My latest update...replacing my 2010 ISF eps ecu with a 2011 ISF eps ecu ( Part number 89650-53041) and installing an ISF Steering damper (Part number 45713-53020)

I also have an extensive thread on the install and post review of these installs: https://www.clublexus.com/forums/is-...t-install.html

Your IS350 has gone through quite the transformation performance-wise in the past year. Looks like 2021 will be another great year for you and your car.

Yeah, it's definitely been a great year for my car. I think the list above is going to be pretty much it, maybe an F-Sport Exhaust...

F-Sport exhaust is a must buy. Even if you're not being a hooligan around town, the exhaust note is more than enough to make your day.

Quick question @redspencer . Are there any other parts needed along with the F-Sport Suspension, such as struts? My local dealership has them for $180 a shock, that seems pretty cheap as a couple of years ago I changed my suspension on my Sienna and it was around $700 per set (front and back). If so, do you happen to have all the part numbers needed?

The part numbers you have listed for the F-Sport shocks are accurate. If you want to refresh some of the supplemental parts on your suspension while doing the swap, you can buy the parts listed on post #3 of this thread:
