After sealing them up with marine grade Amazing Goop (UV resistant) and some black silicone along the seal, I installed the acrylic tails on the car. Love the way they look. It'll be raining over the next week, we'll see how they hold up to my weather sealing abilities

Okay, so the first test fitting of the wheels and fenders before I get the car into a paint shop. This looks ridiculous on the stock body and ride height
Temporarily taped the fender on. The offset fills the gap nicely but I know the fender will end up sitting closer to the body once fitted to the car. With the S9 adjustable rear upper control arms, I'm hoping to dial the camber in the rear so when I'm aired out, it'll tuck just under the fender nicely.

Great build, looking forward to what you have planned for the future.
My car has paint peeling on the side mirror as well as some rust beginning to form right above the 'Vertex' badge. What do you plan to do on those areas? I was thinking maybe just wrapping my side mirrors, but didn't have a clue on what to do about the rust.

The side mirrors will be painted but I have some plans for an aftermarket side mirror. Just need to get that going when the time comes.
As for my rust, they're going to cut it all off. Its like a cancer, it'll spread so they will cut off all the rusty metal, weld and seal it up, coat and paint it so it won't rust any more.
So the update is I dropped off the car at the body shop this week. They know exactly what they need to do for the fenders and the fender cutting to fit the big wheels on air. It'll be there for about a month but I'll try to drop by to get updates on the car.
Also, a bit of a sneak peak for some more body work going on the car:

This was the nasty patch up job that was done to the rear quarter panel
The shop cut out all the affected metal, welded and sealed it up. More space for the wheels in the back when it gets slammed with the widebody
The other side after it was cut before sealing it up.
