So I have wanted a Lexus since I was in high school. I loved the 1st gen IS..then the 2nd...then the 3rd...but then I saw the RC. Being a long time student I never had the means until recently. I like your style. How does the exhaust sound between 2000 and 3000 RPM? I did the muffler delete, but hated the drone so I'm back stock. I love the sound of the F sport exhaust... deep tone, but I'm not in love with the tips. Thanks

There is a bit of drone from 1500-3000 rpm, especially when accelerating. It is not bad when you are just cruising. I am going to see a guy about a midpipe and new resonators. We will see what that does for the drone.

Did the following upgrades to the brakes this weekend.
-Installed a Powerstop rotor and ceramic pad kit
-Installed Stoptech braided brake lines
-Painted the brake calipers with some Peridot Metallic paint that I got from automotivetouchup.com

Stoptech part# 950.44003

There was no Stoptech part number for the rear brake lines on the RC but turns out the rear line for the IS350 fits, Part# 950.44504

Adds some nice contrast

How much did your exhaust from them cost? Was it cat-back?

Yes, cat back and this was 2 years ago so im sure the price has gone up a bit. I was one of the first few RCs he did. Price was around 1300 I believe. They fabricate everything there.
