Thanks again I've installed 2 more layers and I think it's looking better so no problem if you can't track the seller down

Status update:

2 weeks approximately until I get my lip painted and installed onto my car

Ordered a set of Morimoto Bi-LED Projectors to be retrofitted into my Ebay/Spec-D headlights, should ship somewhere around mid/late September approx.

Currently have a set of front lower ball joints on order, catching up on maintenance given that everything is 10 years old

Can you measure the diameter of the front F sport bar you have? I want to confirm it's 30mm vs 28.5mm. I've see on 2 different spec sheets.

Thanks

Sure I'll give it a shot

Update: Will try again when I've got the car in the air and can measure the middle section. I can't tell for certain the 28.5 vs 30mm by just eyeballing it with a ruler

From my rough measurements it's prob closer to 28.5... Didn't have a tape measure on hand

You should've take a pice of yarn and wrapped it around the bar. Then measured the length you had with the ruler. Many thanks though.

No yarn but with a piece of paper the circumference is about 9cm or 90mm, divided by pi is about 28.6 which would be the diameter

Got my front lower ball joints replaced because of an annoying clunk that developed over bumps. Doesn't seem to solve it. So far I've got new upper ball joints, new sway bar links and bushings, new lower ball joints... maybe I developed the infamous BC Racing clunking which would suck since I thought I was lucky in the first year with no clunking.

New lower ball joints definitely tightens up the steering feel. Seems like it's a race to replace every piece of rubber on this 10 year old car.

(10 year old ball joints)

Still waiting on my lip to be painted... in the meantime I took out my GTR LED headlight bulbs. I couldn't deal with the light output just for the color. Even if my area is quite lit, the one or two times I needed the projection I just don't get it with these bulbs. I hope the new projectors next month will solve this problem once and for all.

Lip finally painted and installed! Replaced another upper control arm while it was up in the air. Fitment was good during the test fit but somehow changed after getting it painted. Noticeable gap up close but in the 5ft and 10ft test I still think it looks amazing. Lip was from eBay so I wasn't expecting the world as the paint really shows all the small imperfections of the underlying lip.

Well I managed to score a single front AWD bar! It is definitely way heavier that stock. I know it will do some good paired with my other suspension mods. Here’s is a pic of the bar it’s definitely 28.7mm THK. I measured on 5 diffent spots. Same as the RWD front bar. Hence the F sport sway front bushing are the same P# for both RWD/AWD. 28.6mm without the powder coating.

It's been a while since my last update. I've just been enjoying my car, going on road trips, spirited drives, and the such. Well my new projectors just came in the mail today, going to see if I can get them installed by weeks end. Really looking forward to have up-to-date light output and getting back to white lights again
