Quote: Congrats on finally getting the new parts! Can't wait to see all mounted.

The one thing I didn't like is the "Skipper" name badge embedded or on the parts but love the way the parts fit/look. Is it an option to not install when you received the parts or are you just covering them?
Thanks! I have yet to install the side pieces, maybe this weekend. The parts don't have any badging pre-installed. I might have even misplaced or accidentally thrown them away cause I can't find them!
No biggie since I wasn't planning on putting them on anyway.

Once the CF hood shows up, I think I'm done with exterior mods

Awesome build! Quick question, I'm about to do a coilover install (RSR's) on my RCF and was wondering if you ran into any unexpected problems while installing? Iv done installs on my other cars (s14, frs) any tips would be appreciated. I guess not many people do their own installs on cars like these so haven't been able to find anything online. Thanks!

Thanks! The coilover, spring and shock (rear) are pretty straightforward jobs. I think I had to undo the upper arm ball joint from the carrier (front) and on the rear, disconnect the lower arm from the carrier. I'll see if I can find pictures of the components involved and post them later.

Here are some pictures from the book I have. I didn't use a spring compressor.

Nasty!!! Love it! Even the Musa sticker.
i actually like it better than my tom's rear end.
If only the oem bumper insert can be had in carbon fiber.
Can't wait to see your hood.

I lied. Not done with exterior mod yet, I just ordered a TRD rear spoiler !
Lexus hood is due to be done by end of March and TRD stuff take 2 months to get. We'll see!

Ron,
your addiction is deep...so are your pockets! hahaha
I'm right there with you. Trying to decide which new rim to get for my track wheel.
We need to go join AMA/Automobile modding anonymous.
That TRD wing will be nasty. Hope the wait isn't too long.

Tried looking for them with the ohlins springs but the only one that comes up is ohlins coilovers with swift springs from figs.
I am very new to all this.
