nice job on the calipers but why the poor masking job? even though i understand paint on the brake surface wouldn't matter but the rotor hat you'll see! maybe you'll be painting that as well too?

These rotors have about 5-10k left on them and they'll be replaced. Getting new brake lines as well so I wasn't really concerned with a little overspray. And I still have my factory rims because I can't make up my mind as to which ones I want. I know I want 19s and I want them staggered.
So when I switched to the led tails to keep the red and white theme out back, I used the Phillips vision led bulbs for the rear turn signals. Well after following my wife during the day and night over the past few weeks when she's driven it, the tail lights completely overwhelmed the turn signals. That being the case, I bit the bullet and ordered the high vis amber leds from Vleds along with their 5k reverse lights rated at 1k lumens.
The difference may not be apparent in the cell phone pics, but these puppies are BRIGHT!!
The right hazard light is flashing as well, but lost in the tail lights.
Finally got around to doing the brakes. Have some detailing and touching up to do, but I'm digging them. Think they'll look good peeking from behind some 19" graphite wheels with some cross-drilled and slotted rotors turning in them.
What do you guys think?
where did u get the lexus logo/emblem/stencil for the caliper?

Congrats on the build thread. I never did any mods to my 400 during the 10 years I drove her. Glad you are taking a great car and making it what you want. Look forward to the progression.
