You all have quite a grasp of how to make Lexus vehicles even better. You use your grip to squeeze better looks, spine-tingling sounds, and higher performance out of your cars. Forum member RCF500 didn't let go until his RC F came out looking - and sounding - the way it does here.
Goodness, this is how the RC F should come from the factory
Thanks!

Thanks! I received some of the Varis Pieces from you guys about a few weeks ago, but I haven't had a chance to take nice of pictures of it on the car yet, too busy driving it everywhere! Lol..

Thank you! What battery did you opt for your IS F? I am tracking the car in about 2.5 weeks, if I get serious with tracking, I will put my car on a scale and probably do more weight reduction mods to it!

No problem. I went with the Braille GU1R lithium ion battery. I'm somewhere in the second year of usage and I've had no issues starting the V8, even in freezing weather. Assuming Lexus carried over the same battery for the RC cars, it should work fine (especially if you're in the nicer FL weather more often, lol).

OHHHHH Yes YES!!! Cannot wait to see the Varis on the car. No worries, just enjoy the car and when you have a chance shoot over some photos.

Replied to some of your videos on YouTube asking about the exhaust activation. I saw in one of the videos you are using a remote control (looks like you're holding it for 10 seconds to activate it though). Did you hard mount the switch that came with it and if so, would you mind posting a picture of the switch and where you mounted it.
I just sent the company an email inquiring how to purchase one. Seems like there are a LOT of options, so I'm not sure where to start.

Thanks,
The switch for the valves is mounted on the battery. I'll get a picture up as soon as I can, I've been really busy lately, I haven't even posted pictures of my Varis pieces on the car yet!
As for the wireless remote, you have to hold it for at least 6-7 seconds for it to fully close or open the valves. The bluetooth control feature should arrive before the end of this year I believe.

Thanks for the response. I get being "busy", I know the feeling.
Hey, can you help me understand the HP gain and the dyno you posted? I'm not 100% fluent in reading them. Doesn't Lexus claim the RC-F is 467hp (at the crank) in stock form? And I do understand that the typical drivetrain loss is around 15% loss, correct? The dyno you show isn't making sense to me as any gains, but even the baseline numbers are very low. What am I missing? Thanks in advance!
Well as you can see on the dyno sheet, about 37 rwhp gained, the other 9 rwhp is from the rotora carbon ceramics brake system.
This was done on a mustang dyno also, dynojet may yield more. I will probably dyno my car again once I have my headers on down in Florida within the coming weeks.
