Default Passenger Front & Rear Intermittent Speakers

Howdy folks,
Been perusing this site for a long time and have always been able to solve my problems reading through previous threads.....however not this time!

Looking for troubleshooting advice on my audio system. 2007 IS 250 standard audio package (no ML). All speakers in the car work fine via the AUX input, satellite radio, and CD disc changer. However, when I put the car into radio AM/FM mode the right side passenger side speakers all go to static front and rear (6 speakers total). I've taken out the stock amp in the trunk and opened it up and nothing appears fried and all components clean. I cleaned and re-seated all amp connections and problem persists. I haven't opened up the doors to see the speakers because i don't believe those to be the issue since the system works fine with all inputs except radio. The right side was intermittent for a while when using the radio now it does not work at all with the radio.

Any thoughts?

I think your problem might be in the interface for the different parts of the system. If they are all working on everything but one selection I doubt it's anything to do with your amps or speakers. I'd hate to say it but it might be the head unit. The replacement cost might not be worth changing out until you find a good price or a used replacement. Live with what you currently have until you find an affordiable replacement.

Default priblem solved

Correct it wad a bad FM mod chip or circuit in the head unit. Sent it out to united radio in upstate NY for a modest fee...($250) and they replaced the board. works like a champion. I highly recommend United. I even sent out my amp previously for an evaluation and they found nothing wrong. Didn't even charge me shipping or cost to evaluate the unit!
