Just joined up here and saw this thread. Doesnt seem to be to many IS220d's floating around. Process of building a VIP 220d and it aint cheao to do it right
How are you getting that MPG though :O I'm avaraging late 20s, early 30s with mostly town driving. Probably get mid 30s if I take it on a very long trip on Cruise control..
As for the Exhaust, an IS250 (petrol version) has twin pipes. Straight forward fit. I did this not to long ago, just find a breakers yard and pick up an IS250 rear bumper to that has the 2 exit holesand its all a direct replacement. All you need to do is buy a exhaust bracket/hanger from Lexus for that side and bolt it up.. or get one from the breakers. Another popular mod is a GFX rear lip,OEM from lexus to and AP2 Honda S2000 rear tips which area little bigger and look alot better!..Something im trying get my hands on... those gfx rear lips are rare.

the MPG thing though, most people cant seem to get above 50, you really do need to reset the counter once you get on the motorway and put cruise on and just cruise, dont change speed. I would get anywhere between 55 and 65 mpg on a long drive.
But even the 40 most people get still beats my GS at 17 city, 32 motorway haha
