Thanks Adrian! Yes, it sounds so amazing.

Regarding the video extraction from my camcorder, all I used was Windows Movie Maker - it makes the job so easy, I didn't really do anything to make the video clear. I had the camcorder on a tripod and that eliminated any shake. That's it.

Just saw the video- looks and sounds great. I even watched it on my 50" tv with the surround sound and subs.

About the camcorder on the tripod... your neighbors must have thought you were crazy to leave it behind.

It must have sounded great on your TV system!

Actually it was early in the morning and nobody was about. Besides which my wife was standing beside the camcorder.

Dam Hameed, sounds great!

I'm getting ready to actually install my JB S&S headers ( I've had them for months ) and I really want to do something like you did - 2.25 inch tubing into a X pipe and straight back to my Carson Tuned mufflers. I already have the SRT intake and I'm thinking this combination would sound really good - hopefully something similar to your G4 with the mods.

Congrats - sounds like a very worthy investment.

Definitely, Just do it. It is pretty simple when you break it down to the details:

1. Remove all piping and resonators from the end of the first set of cats to the beginning of the mufflers
2. Install 2.25 inch mandrel bent pipes
3. X-pipe in the first section that is indented
4. straight pipes from the X- to the mufflers.

That's it!

Trust me you won't regret this decision one bit!

congrats on the new mods!

so did you also replace the l-tuned muffles, or just the piping from front to back?

i only ask, cuz i plan on doing a Magnaflow 14829 muffler set with custom piping to the cats as well

Car sounds great too. Did you get any mpg increase from the FIPK?

I know on my old ride it went up about 2-3 mpg with an FIPK, but havent read to much about it yet on CL.

Anyways, congrats on the new purchase. Wish my significant others would be as supportive about mods as your's seems to be

No, I did not replace the L-tuned mufflers. I am positive that the setup you go with - the Magnaflows will sound just as incredible or even better

Don't really know - I haven't checked........

That next exhaust setup would look wonderful with a cultured pearl necklace or silver earrings accented with inlaid turquoise.

Sounds great hameed!! I am new to my GS400 and this board but not to modifying cars.
Muscle car Lexus.....huh? Talk about turning heads to see a Silver streaked Angry V8 4door, Nice! I did this with my supercharged Camry but, heh, it didn't sound that good. I am really looking forward to your dyno. What are you guessing- 265 whp' ish? It seems most stock are around 240 whp.

Question Flanges?

Hameed,
Did the shop use the flanges from the old/stock exhaust or did they supply new ones to match the piping?
Btw, I just love your exhaust. Hope you don't mind us copying it. Glen(RMMGS4) is right when he called you a CL pioneer.

Man, I love that, Hameed. Great sound, man.

Now, will that setup pass through American emissions testing? I thought Canada had emissions testing too.
