When I have to depend on my mechanic to find the time after work to work on my car, this is what happens. Keep in mind that he does not care about the money otherwise he would have opened his repair shop a long time ago.

He just does me a favour because I keep bugging him all the time about it.

I am going to beat you to another mod too - a purple round mod! I already got, now just waiting for Desmond to find time to install it!

Yeah right, Mr. Secrecy Underway, I bet you already have the EDFC and TC installed, just waiting to unveil it at EOS V3. You lucky dog!

Angry Thanks Hameed!

Great! I'm saving up money and trying to find the time to do my TC, and now you have to go and tempt me to do another mod!
J/K of course, I am pretty satisfied with my settings on the CS for most driving- our So. Cal roads aren't too bad so I have them set pretty stiff. Besides, I really like my Tom's FSTB and as you know, it won't work with the EDFC.
Then again....hmmm

Congrads Hameed. It is a worthwhile mod that I also love. Mine are set to the following program:

0/0 P1 (agressive GET OUT of my way driving)
14/16 P2 (daily driving)
33/34 P3 (soft when wife drives car)

I love the ability to change on the fly and be in the correct zone in less than 2-3 seconds.
Come to think of it, I can't believe that I use to do this manually with the hex wrench. Manually, if you want to change, you have to remember which setting you were previously on, count the clicks hope that the other are not off, etc and it would take no less than 7-8 mins. The car has to be stopped with hood and trunk open.
Congrads Hameed and welcome to the TEIN world

On the TEIN EDFC

Does it remember the last setting the damping was on when you turn on your car again? Or does it go to hardest setting when you start the car and then you have switch it back to your setting?

As long as there is power, it remembers. If your battery dies, then the memory (including the presets) go away.

I can't get over how much more comfortable my car is at 15/16 and how easy I can change it to rock hard in less than 3 seconds!!! This is what modding is all about!!!!!

Yesterday while on the highway, I had it set to 15/16 and then when I was exiting, the exit ramp was long and winding and smooth. Guess what happenned next?

Instead of slowing down, I sped up, hit Memory button 1 (0/0), and had an absolute blast going around the bend with zero body roll!!! <grinning from ear-to-ear>

Now if that is not the main point of having an EDFC, I don't know what is. (Are you listening Rominl? )

Quick question..

How did you some of you guys moun tthe EDFC controller box? Did you use the bracket and screwed it on or did you use the velcro tape or the double sided tape.

I'm getting ready to mount mine on and I wanna know what a good way.

My installer mounted it with a screw through the top cover I believe, into the dash below the ignition key hole. Works great.

When people ask how often do you use the EDFC, I answer I don't use it everyday, but some days more than once. Guess what I also do when I'm in the mood to use it multiple times a day.

I had mine attached by velcro to the left of the steering column at such an angle that I can see the display. The velcro does not seem to be that good, so I will probably end up attaching it with a screw like Bit did.

I think I use mine practically every day. At least once per day for sure.
