one of the best detailed builds for the 3is. wish i had the ***** and time to do some of the stuff you did
do you have to replace brake lines or refill the fluid for the isf caliper change? i've never actually changed calipers and that's one thing i don't wanna mess up is the brake system.

I just only recently picked them up, still need to have them repainted and gather pads and rotors before they get installed
Brake lines can be reused and fluid needs to be bleeded after

Its been a while since i've updated this thread.
I have still been tinkering and building the car but just at a oddly slower rate.
I had listed the car for sale a couple of months back but no takers so far.
In the background I still had the urge to touch the car even if it may leave my hands soon.
At any rate, let the mods continue
Another work in progress mod,
2017+ Navigation Joystick control. I picked it up because I like the palm rest design more than the older. It is plug and play and the only button that does not do anything is the Back button. All the other buttons function as intended. The Center console there is a small portion of it that will have to be filed down in order for this newer one to snap into place. I'll show it at a later date when i have a chance.

Also got the new 2017+ navigation control console in place.
Will get a video up of what is necessary for this retrofit to work on 2014-2016 model Navigation cars. It is pretty simple

Switches are FIRE!!!!!!
Wondering if you can share the source of your switches and details on them (Size of any info you can share) I have been on the hunt for simple switches that fit our blanks. Thanks in Advance.

finished prepping alarm/remote start but have yet to have time to get it in.<br/>
started buying JDM switchs that fit the OEM blank panels
here's USB charging port
side by side with OEM panel
picked up a off and on toggle as well
all three together
test fitting it in the car
=========================================================================================================================
Picked up a CUSCO Front strut bar
Made for 2IS but known to fit 3IS from all the people that have tried
Cusco part no, 983 540 a
(Link to buy https://rover.ebay.com/rover/1/711-5...%26_osacat%3D0 )
before strut bar
after strut bar, still with protective film on
finally removed the film after 2 weeks
some wheels on loan that were tossed on the car for a car show. they are Mtechnica Directional
they have been since removed from vehicle. now to wait for my wheels and lip kit to arrive.

Awesomeness
Hi there, @specONE
Just wanted to congratulate you on an awesome thread, and car build! It’s a credit to you!!!! I’m new to the IS world having recently bought a 2015 IS300H base model. I love to modify my cars and until see your thread was a bit stumped as to where to look for parts and to see what might work.
That problem is now solved thanks to your highly detailed build thread with part numbers etc. Keep up the awesome work dude, have also subscribed to your YouTube channel. I fear there shall be many late nights of binge watching YouTube. Started reading your thread yesterday and just finished. 👍🏼👍🏼

Thanks to all those that followed and read my long build thread over the years. It was a fun ride and met alot of good people along the way
Late last year, I parted out the car back to stock and move on from it, closing this chapter. I am doing a lightweight build on a my new daily, Lexus NX300 as a stop gap.
Here's a walk-around video of my IS350 before I tore it back down to near bone stock.
To be continued.... i.e. IS500

Good luck with the new build. The DIY videos that came out of your 3IS were very helpful.
See you again on the IS500 build
